My name is Barila and I am a self-taught artist based in Seattle. As a BIPOC artist, my work is heavily influenced by my surroundings and experiences. I draw inspiration from iconic artists like Georgia O'Keeffe, Mark Tobey, the Northwest Mystics, and Van Gogh, but I also find inspiration in the everyday art I see all around me. My love for painting knows no bounds, and I often experiment with various multi-mediums to bring my visions to life. Through my art, I hope to evoke emotion and ignite imagination in others, just as my favorite artists have done for me.
